I am a clinical psychologist member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec. I completed my doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the University of Montreal (UdeM) in 2017. I offer individual or couple services (English and French) for issues pertaining to relationship difficulties, sexuality, depression, anxiety, stress management and personal growth. My approach is integrative, drawing on several evidence-based practices including cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. Above all, I believe that clients need to feel a sense of warmth within a caring, genuine and collaborative therapeutic relationship.
My clinical experience has been based at the University Clinic of Université de Montréal and at the Allan Memorial Institute of the Royal Victoria Hospital in the Sex and Couples Therapy clinic. My doctoral dissertation examines the psychological factors underpinning relationship difficulties in individuals with traits of borderline personality.
I advocate that the integration of clinical approaches allows flexible interventions and has much to offer to meet the diversified needs of different individuals or couples.
